Calling all Murderinos, true crime fanatics, and aspiring amateur detectives!

Each month, the Murder They Wrote book club meets to discuss the gruesome crimes, brilliant detectives, and stunning plot twists that can be found in the pages of any good mystery. Our selections alternate between true crime and mystery fiction, and we are always open to suggestions for future readings.

Some of our past books include:

  • I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara

  • Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs

  • The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich

  • Destroyer Angel by Nevada Barr

  • The Feather Thief: Beauty, Obsession, and the Natural History Heist of the Century by Kirk Wallace Johnson

  • Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear

  • The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule

  • The Cold Blue Blood by David Handler

  • Girls of Murder City: Fame, Lust, and the Beautiful Killers Who Inspired Chicago by Douglas Perry
